Distorted drums, noisy guitar parts, feedback, drones and field recordings, all bled together as a powerful backdrop for successive waves upon waves of full-strength vocal passages that resonate with the rawest of power. Not for the feint-hearted, but as honest and sincere as they come, ‘Prison Soup’ is a beautifully chaotic, energy-filled experiment into where alt-rap meets a grind aesthetic as a platform for the ongoing chew and gut spill.
